The Outdoor Lockable Free Standing Post Box - Allux KS200 has a lockable letter flap, with a retrieval door fitted with a reliable Eurolock cylinder lock to keep your post secure. For extra protection, you also have the option to change this to an ultra-strong Swedish Ruko lock if you wish. The letter flap comes ready for a name strip and includes a protective strip.

FR-2 Stand Installation & Ground Fixing

Please note: the FR-2 stand is designed to be installed into the ground and is not a surface-mounted stand. It does not bolt directly onto paving, concrete or another finished surface.

For a secure installation, the lower section of the stand should be set into the ground, ideally using concrete for maximum stability. The supplied cross bolt is an anchoring bolt rather than a ground-fixing bolt. Once fitted through the base of the stand, it helps prevent the post from being pulled or twisted out of the ground after installation.

For additional anchoring, a suitable piece of reinforcement, such as a metal bar or other corrosion-resistant fixing with a compatible hole or loop, may be secured through or around the anchoring bolt before the concrete is poured. This increases the area held within the concrete and can provide additional resistance against movement or removal.For best results:

1. Dig a hole deep and wide enough to provide a stable foundation for the stand.
2. Fit the supplied anchoring bolt through the lower section of the FR-2 stand.
3. Position the stand vertically and check that it is level.
4. For additional security, attach suitable reinforcement to the anchoring bolt if required.
5. Fill around the stand with suitable concrete and ensure the post remains level while the concrete sets.
6. Allow the concrete to fully cure before fitting or placing load on the letterbox.

Ground conditions vary, so the size and depth of the foundation should be appropriate for the installation location. If you are unsure about the ground conditions or installation method, we recommend seeking advice from a competent installer.
