The transfer did not work despite working diligently to the instructions. It would not transfer so we gave up.
Also do not try and fit to an uneven wall (Cotswold stone!) as the lid for inserting post will not fully open!
We managed by screwing wooden batons to the wall and fixing the box to those.Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

The postbox was not as described and pictured on the website. It is not arrived with the metal letter retaining bars to stop the post falling out when you open the door. I ordered this box specifically for that feature.

The postbox I ordered (Modern Wall Mounted External Letterbox - Jackdaw) was just as pictured and described. It's a very smart box which was easy to fit and does the job well. It's really nice to see the company supplies spares (eg locks and blank keys) for their boxes too. We haven't had much rain and wind since installing it a fortnight ago, so I can't comment on how weatherproof it is yet, but it seems robust with no visible easy entry points for the weather. I'd definitely buy from Letterbox4you again. Highly recommended.
