The front plate is a single, solid cast aluminium piece, shaped to protect against rain ingress without requiring a separate flap.

    The letterbox installation was straightforward although you do need a big hole to allow for the downward angle of the box, especially through a 500mm stone wall. It looks neat when finished and the angle of the chute stops letters getting stuck at the top. Really pleased with it.
